Battery



We all need a battery but they are to heavy in weight.
After some research I met a guy, he works for the company mymotor.nl. I told him that I was afraid for
the fire’s you can have with the LI-ion battery’s. He told me not to be afraid and helped me to select the right battery for
the BMW 1200 engine. Check their site at

I made a box off very thin steel. There will be blown cold air in it at the top and dirty air will be released at the
bottom. Total weight battery and box is 1600 gr. This is also the stand to hold it at the fire wall.

After a few discussions we took the decision to put a second battery. This because we have electronic motormanagement.
The battery we already had will be the starter battery, the second battery wil only be for backup and for the efis when we use this
one on the ground.

I used a diode to connect the secondaire batterie with the alternator. With this system I can use thinner wire to connect the sec
batterie
